Frances H. McClelland Rehabilitation Program
The Frances H. McClelland Pediatric Rehabilitation Program at Phoenix Children's Hospital is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric rehab program in the state of Arizona. The team consists of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, audiologists and support staff. The team currently has 90 clinicians and continues to grow.
The program provides care to those in the acute care hospital, which includes the neurological patients, as well as in the 12-bed inpatient rehab unit, the only pediatric inpatient unit in Arizona. Outpatient facilities are located at the main hospital, as well as satellite centers in Scottsdale, Avondale and the East Valley.
The program is made up of a comprehensive team of pediatric trained physicians, nurses, psychologists and therapists who care only for children.
Our aim is to allow each child to achieve their optimal level of independence, using multidisciplinary, family-centered team of professionals. This team, along with the family, will develop a treatment plan and goals for each patient based on the child's specific injury, illness or disability.
