About Z. Janet Semenova, CPNP-AC, MSN

Janet Semenova is a board certified pediatric acute care nurse practitioner and member of the Department of Pain Management since 2009. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Rush University in Chicago in 2005 and her Masters of Nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Prior to starting graduate school Janet worked as a nurse on both pediatric oncology and pediatric intensive care units. She has a passion for pediatrics and enjoys teaching nursing students and residents as well as fellow providers about new advances in pain medicine. She also has an interest in exploring holistic approaches to the treatment of pain including the roles of herbal therapies, acupuncture, diet, psychology, physical therapy and yoga.
