Why Us?

Hypothalamic Hamartoma Center

We have the only multidisciplinary program for evaluating and treating pediatric patients with hypothalamic hamartomas (HH) in the United States. We are one of the leading programs in the world for hypothalamic hamartoma research including the development of innovative surgical therapies for this rare and disabling disorder.

The Hypothalamic Hamartoma Center treats patients whose treatment by medication is failing. We offer surgical treatment to eradicate the hypothalamic hamartoma lesion. This approach is based on the individual anatomy of the hypothalamic hamartoma lesion and the patient's unique clinical circumstances.

Our mission is to serve as a resource to the hypothalamic hamartoma community of patients and families around the world. We accomplish this goal by offering definitive treatment and education, and conducting research to benefit the hypothalamic hamartoma patients of the future
