Programs & Services

Urology Department

Our Urology Program provides patients with all diagnostic, medical and surgical services. A few of our specialized services are:

  • Urologic oncology
  • Stone program
  • Urodynamics
  • Biofeedback
  • In-office ultrasounds
  • Neonatal in-office circumcision
  • Prenatal consultations

Common surgical procedures include:

  • Nephrectomy: surgical removal of a kidney
  • Pyeloplasty: surgical reconstruction of the renal pelvis (a part of the kidney) to drain and decompress the kidney
  • Ureteral stent placement: a thin tube inserted into the ureter to prevent or treat obstruction of the urine flow from the kidney
  • Circumcision: surgical removal of some or all of the foreskin from the penis
  • Cystoscopy: an endoscopy of the urinary bladder via the urethra
  • Excision hydrocele
  • Inguinal hernia repair
  • Repair of buried penis/penile torsion/chordee repair
  • Scrotoplasty
